Sight loss, hearing loss, and deafness information day is on Friday 4th October 2024 from 12pm – 4:30pm at Ashdale Hall, Westhill Drive.
The aim is to provide information about the services that are available to people with sensory loss or deafness, their family/carers and staff supporting people with sensory loss.
What’s on:
find out about support available in your area;
a demonstration of equipment;
bring along your mobile phone, ipad or other technology for help to make the most of its features;
hearing aid support;
Contact Scotland BSL interpreting service presenting about their service;
information about new talking bus information signs and app;
Aberdeenshire library services.
BSL interpreter will be present. Personal Induction loop available. Help with transport may be possible.
