For years I have been working with Tracey Gibbon to help her son, Kyle, who has been in Carstairs for 14 years. It is a national scandal that there are still hundreds of autistic people and people with learning disabilities being held in hospitals across Scotland.
Last week I raised a question to the First Minister on what work is doing to get patients like Kyle, who should not have been there in the first place, back home.
I also joined New Routes Home protest outside of the Scottish Parliament to show my support for the fight to get people home.
