Recently in Parliament, I had the opportunity to meet the specialist telephone banking team at Lloyds Banking Group.
Their team offers support to vulnerable customers who have faced a bereavement, are setting up Power of Attorney for a loved one, have suffered domestic abuse or are facing a critical illness. These services can provide practical help, including advice about:
• joint accounts
• debts, lending and mortgages
• opening a new account
• important documents they might need, like passports, drivers’ licenses and bills
To contact the Specialist Domestic and Financial Abuse Team:
• Bank of Scotland customers can call on 0800 1218 278.
• Lloyds Bank customers can call on 0800 0665 703.
• Halifax customers can call on 0800 0854 475.
