Theft included 800 litres of red diesel, 9 padlocks, 20 litres of chain oil, 6 LED spotlights, a pollution kit, John Deere tool kit, set of spanners and a fire extinguisher, all from a forestry site near Aboyne.

Crime Reduction Officer recommendations include ensuring all tools and fuel are locked away in secure storage, and that doors are of solid construction with suitable locks or a closed shackle padlock fitted. 4G CCTV cameras are also useful for monitoring remote sites.
