Delighted to attend the Scottish Parliament’s Opening Ceremony on Saturday accompanied by my Local Hero for Aberdeenshire West Kayleigh Wallace from Lend a Hand Kemnay.

Kayleigh has done fantastic work for her local community since the start of the pandemic and it was great to meet with her to celebrate the start of the new session. It was truly inspiring to see all the Local Heroes from communities across Scotland who have gone above and beyond to support those in need during this extremely challenging time.
