NHS Grampian has just announced that it has set up The Adult Autism Assessment Team for Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire in January of this year and that they are now open for self-referrals. After years of working with the autistic community in Aberdeenshire to raise awareness of ASD and to increase the number of NHS referrals for adults with suspected autism, this is very welcome news.
