I’m receiving a lot of queries from constituents regarding the Strategic Framework Business Fund. I know that Aberdeenshire Council are working hard to distribute this fund and I want to thank them for their incredible efforts.

The SFBF generated an unprecedented number of applications and enquiries over a short period and, as a result, Aberdeenshire Council has now brought in staff from across the Council to help administer the initial backlog.

Some of you have asked why you are not receiving acknowledgement of receipts of your applications. Due to the numbers, I was advised this is not generated automatically, but if you request a read/delivery receipt you will be sent an email confirming submission.
