The community spirit shown in Huntly over the weekend is a huge inspiration and I am blown away by the kindness of the local community.

A massive thank you to Linda and Andrew Meiklejohn for their outstanding generosity to help strangers stranded in the cold by taking them in to the Castle Hotel free of charge.

I recently submitted a parliamentary motion thanking everyone who was involved in helping people during what has been an extremely challenging period – both because of the cold and Covid.
