Today, in celebration of St Andrew’s Day, I want to encourage people to explore their local areas and enjoy the brilliant outdoors and wonderful local businesses that Aberdeenshire has to offer!

This morning I visited the great Meet the Meat Butchery and Fine Food Store on Banchory high street, who sell fantastic, locally-sourced meat & produce. Their shops are open and following current guidelines, and they have an online shop too: https://www.meetthemeat.co.uk/. 

I also want to say thank you to everyone who has played their part throughout the pandemic and continues to follow the guidelines. It has been a difficult year but I continue to be inspired by everyone’s community spirit and dedication to support others.
