Since the dial-a-bus service was suspended at the start of lockdown I have heard from people who feel disappointed and isolated by not being able meet with friends or visit their local towns.

Aberdeenshire Council have responded to my letter to confirm that they plan to resume the bus service with a phased rollout from the end of this month, with the Banchory Town service planned to restart by the end of November.

I have gone back to them asking if this can be brought forward, particularly given the number of people who will rely on it for getting to flu vaccination appointments.
