Last week in Parliament I spoke on the next steps we must take to help our economy recover from the effects of covid-19.

The construction industry will play a key role in stimulating our economy, but we must support small as well as large infrastructure projects - from building green homes to developing local infrastructure and repairing our bridges.

It is also imperative that the oil and gas industry gets the support it needs from the Scottish Government. Not only will the industry be central to achieving Scotland’s Net-Zero targets, but we must look towards innovative projects to help jump start the economy.
