Aboyne Service Station (013398 86440) : Revised shop opening hours: Mon-Frthey 11.30am – 5.30pm, Sat 11am – 1pm. Sunday Closed. These times are subject to change. When they are closed, fuel is available at Pay at Pumps 3&4. The workshop is now closed. Key workers requiring emergency repairs should phone to receive contact details to make an appointment. Aboyne Coop: Please note that the Aboyne Coop is now operating a one way system. If the shop becomes busy a ‘one in one out’ system will be used to ensure social distancing can be observed within the store.

Aboyne Papershop: Open from 5am – 1pm Monday to Saturday. Sundays - 5.30am - 1pm. They are still operating a delivery system for newspapers and groceries as previously advised. If you need anything phone 86847 before 1pm.  They are also are providing ready-made meals from a butcher in Kemnay and will give menus to people requesting them.

Aboyne Post Office – revised opening hours. Mon-Frthey 9am – 12.30pm.

The Auld Kirk, Ballater -  are offering Afternoon Teas for delivery. The cost will be £15 per head and will be delivered free of charge locally, with a small fee for deliveries over 5 miles . Any enquiries, please call on 01339 755762.

Ballater Chiels – The Chiels are often regarded as a "Labour Force" in Ballater, doing the jobs that others are unable to do. If you require help with something physical be it hacking sticks of fetching coal to your door or something else. You can contact the Chiels Secretary, Andrew Thain on 0775 253 2864. If there are Chiels available they will do their best to assist.

Boat Inn, Aboyne. Food deliveries. Turiff's food boxes can now be ordered online at www.turiffsfruitandveg.co.uk or by phone on 01674 674207. They are now taking bookings for outside dining areas from 6th July and inside from 15th July. They have 8 dining pods for 2 as well as numerous physically distanced larger tables and are also in the process of building dining booths inside for 15th. They will be working with the menu on our FB page initially to serve everyone as quickly and safely as possible. Braemar Butchers (01339741206) stocks a wide range of Veg, Cooked meat and Frozen products. Can also find on Facebook.

Braemar Filling station are open daily and are all stocked up. Before you leave the house for essentials please check if they have it in stock. It could save you from visiting supermarkets where demands are highest and stock is limited. If you can't find what you need then call 01339741142.

Campfield Filling Station (Torphins / Raenoir Rd).  New opening hours until further notice:
Mon- Friday. 6.30am – 5.30pm, Sat- Sunday 8am - 4pm. Due to demand daily deliveries of local bakery ( Ritchies and Sinclairs) buns , pies ,butteries and cakes in stock. Local tatties, Katy's Eggs, and Collies of Kemnay Bacon all in stock.

The Commercial Hotel, Tarland (013398 81922) At the moment their phased re-opening plans are:

July 6th - beer garden re-opens for drinks only 12-9 pm daily

July 10th - bar menu available, beer garden only 12 - 8 pm

July 15th - public bar and lounge bar and restaurant re-opens for drinks and bar food menu

July 20th - full menu available

Corner House, Aboyne: the Corner House is closed until further notice. Unfortunately this also means the ATM will not be holding any cash. While they are closed, they thought it would be really nice to cover their large windows with colourful and cheerful pictures. Dee Valley Confectioners, Ballater: although they are currently closed for business due to Covid-19, they are happy to provide a postal service.

The Deeside Delthey (013397 55741) is now open 9 -3pm. It has increased its deliveries. It can supply fruit and veg, eggs, cold meats, cheeses, some dry goods products. If you can pay by card it would be a help (but it is not essential).

Finzean Farm Shop (01330 850710) are offering local deliveries on a range of items, from soup to bread and fruit and veg. Phone for more info.  It would be appreciated  if orders could be made online. Please phone to check the opening times for the shop. To avoid unnecessary queuing, only 1 member per family will be allowed in and they ask that you observe the 2 metre social distancing guidelines at all times.

George Strachan Ltd, Aboyne (13398 86121): They are open 7 Days 6am – 6pm inclusive. In the meantime stocks are being replaced daily and a local delivery service is always available. Ballater Branch is closed meantime until after lockdown and self-isolation is lifted.

Granite Fish deliveries in Ballater. They are willing to come out on a Wednesday, so long as they reach a minimum order. Call on Monday or Tuesday 01224 587065 to place your order and leave your delivery details.

The Highlanders Bakehouse (013397 42242) Their online shop back up and running – online orders only. THEHIGHLANDERSBAKEHOUSE.CO.UK . They aim to deliver within 3 days. Please leave detailed instructions. They are implementing a strict no contact delivery service, so please fill in the 'safe place' box at checkout.

H.M. Sheridan's (013397 55218) is now letting only one person in the shop at a time. They will deliver anywhere in Upper Deeside and surrounds, and will also be willing to pick up (for any one self-isolating) bread, milk, eggs etc. They now have available weekly small portion ready meal selection now available: Mince and tatties with veg, sausage casserole, macaroni, steak pie, chicken and bacon in a white wine sauce, potato and leek soup, chicken and vegetable soup, bread and butter pudding. All for £22, and can be delivered to your door.

Phoenix Chip Shop Ballater: They will be open Weds to Sat 4.30pm – 8pm. It will be phone orders only – 01339755119. They will be letting 1 person in at a time to collect. Card payments preferred. Supplies could be limited. They will be offering a delivery service from 5PM-7PM. This is only available for Ballater and 2 miles outside the village. Please could you leave the money on the doorstep. They will let you know how much it is when you phone.

Shorty's, Ballater (013398 80908). New menu available for home-deliveries. Orders can be taken by FB, email [email protected], or by phone. This will be a zero-contact service, so payment can be made by BACS or Paypal. Deliveries will be Thursdays and Fridays with a small fee of £1 per order. There is a minimum sped of £10 per order.

Tarland Paper Shop (013398 80060 ) is open and are happy to keep papers to be picked up if you give them a ring. Due to the COVID19 lockdown they are reducing  opening hours -  Mon - Sat 6am till 3pm, Sun 9am - 2pm (No home deliveries available on Sunday). Lots of lovely fresh fruit & veg delivered Mon & Thurs. Also they have deliveries from HM Sheridan every Tuesday and Friday.

Tarland Post Office : Opening times will be Tues/Thurs/ Frid 10-3, Weds / Sat 10-12. Admittance will be on a one in, one out basis.

White Cottage, Aboyne – are offering a limited frozen ready meal selection. Pre-order and pay by phone before collection (card only – no cash). Collection available Fri- Sun, 2pm – 5pm only. Please do not arrive without preordering. . On arrival please ring the doorbell and give your name through the window. They will collect your order and leave it in the vestibule for you to pick up. Woodside Vets: Both Banchory and Aboyne branch surgeries will be closed for business until further notice. Emergency care ONLY will be carried out at our TORPHINS surgery.
Farmers wishing to collect lambing and calving supplies, phone and they can arrange this for collection. Small animal repeat prescriptions can be arranged by giving us at least 24 hours notice, and they can also arrange deliveries to your door if you cannot travel.
