During this time of uncertainty it is important that we make sure we take care of our wellbeing and mental health. Below I have listed some useful sites which offer great advice on how to manage your anxiety and useful suggestions on things to do if you are in self-isolation.
Grampian Psychological Resilience Hub:
They are providing telephone or virtual face-to-face appointments to offer guidance and support to those who are struggling with the changes brought about by the coronavirus pandemic.

Aberdeenshire Council Educational psychology support by telephone:
The Council's educational psychology team are offering a phone service for parents/carers or professionals who would like to talk through any education or well-being concerns about a child or young person.
The phone line will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 3pm. You can get in touch by calling 01779 403721. If you would prefer for the team to call you back, please email [email protected] with your name and number.
Mental Health Aberdeen have a new mental health helpline: 01224 573892.
They can provide practical advice, signposting to other services and support and emotional support to those who need it now.
One to One Counselling
MHA have taken the difficult decision to close all face-to-face counselling at One to One Deeside, Aboyne.
The team have set up a telephone support service, staffed by fully trained, experienced counsellors, which can be accessed by calling 013398 86700 or by emailing [email protected].
Please leave a clear, concise message on the answering machine that includes your name and telephone number, and a counsellor will call you back. If you have a preference of what time we should call, please let them know.
Breathing Space
They offer an advice and listening service if you are experiencing low mood, feeling anxious or depressed.
They can be contacted on 0800 83 85 87.
Cruse Bereavement Care
They offer support, advice and information to people when someone dies. They can be contacted on 0808 808 1677, Monday and Friday 9:30-5 & Tuesday-Thursday 9:30am-8pm.
Forget Me Not Club, Banchory
They are available to provide help and support at this time. Please contact their General Manager, Eunice Gardyne on 07483 407254.
The Samaritans
They offer support and listening to anyone that is struggling to cope or who just needs someone to listen. They can be contacted on 116 123, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The Silver Line
They provide advice and support for older people. They offer friendship calls via their helpline on 08004 70 80 90, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
