Please see below for up-to-date information and resources for both the Scotland and UK Government's advice on the current coronavirus situation..
Information and advice is constantly changing. I will continue to post on my website to keep communities updated.
The Scottish Government announced their plans for a phased return out of lockdown and current restrictions.
Whilst restrictions will not be lifted at once, in the coming weeks it is likely that we will have more freedoms – such as being able to sit in the park and meeting up with another household. This will likely begin to be introduced from the 28th of May.
This provides hope for our futures and shows that we have all played an important role in preventing the spread of the virus.
Those aged 5 and over are eligible for a COVID-19 test if you are experiencing any symptoms - including a persistent cough, high fever, or loss of taste or smell. Appointments for the drive-through testing centres can be booked online at: https://www.nhs.uk/ask-for-a-coronavirus-test or by calling 0300 303 2713.
A new helpline has been set up for people who would be at high risk if they contracted Coronavirus, but are without support from family or their community. Contact the helpline on 0800 111 4000, which is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
