After being involved in this project for nearly 20 years, I was delighted that the Banchory Sports Village officially opened on January 14th. It was an honour that the Duchess of Rothesay was present for the opening.

The Banchory Sports Village is a first-class facility for Banchory and its surrounding areas. The sports village is suited with a regulation-length swimming pool, a training pool, squash courts, and a fully equipped fitness suite. I hope to stop in soon for a game of squash, but I hope that I do not cause too much of a racquet.
