In response to Stagecoach Bluebird’s proposal to change timetables affecting residents in areas, several consultations were arranged. However, none of them were held within the constituency. Therefore, I wrote to Stagecoach Bluebird outlining concerns about their consultation process.

Despite major changes occurring in to the service between Lumphanan and Torphins, there was no consultation events held in Deeside. In my letter I wrote, ‘It is concerning that an area that is due to face even further reductions to bus services does not have a local opportunity to ask questions and put forward comments’. 

Stagecoach Bluebird is now reviewing feedback and taking into consideration feedback received from the Aberdeenshire Council. I hope they take the concerns of our local communities into account before finalising the proposal.
