For Volunteers Week, I visited the fantastic Gordon Rural Action with Douglas Ross to get a tour of their premises and present them with two Parliamentary Motions that I lodged to recognise their work earlier this year.
Over the last year they given out 4,927 items from their baby bank, 791 pieces of clothing from their school uniform bank, 364 food parcels, provided £443,881.34 worth of support in the form of benefit awards, grants and funds saved for their clients, as well as recently opening their bikery to provide affordable bikes for the community!
You can see the motions I have submitted commending the charity.
