I was delighted to take part in Scottish Traditional Building Forum at the Scottish Parliament with pupils from Wester Hailes High School & Inverkeithing High School.

I tried my hand at some of the skills being demonstrated alongside the future skilled workforce of Scotland. It is great to see young people interested in the wide variety of careers they can pursue.

The construction skills demonstration is part of Build Your Future where industry is working in collaboration to promote the many and diverse careers within it, and is part of a larger programme looking to make positive impact on industry recruitment and address the diversity issues within it!
