The Skills Development Scotland (SDS) Results Helpline will be open from 8am on Tuesday 4th August as pupils across Scotland receive their results.
As you will be aware, the COVID-19 pandemic has created an unprecedented public health and economic challenge. This year more than ever, the expert advice and guidance on offer from SDS advisers will be crucial to support students and their families dealing with the cancellation of the exam diet and the impacts of the pandemic on further education and jobs.
They are keen to ensure that as many pupils, parents and carers as possible are aware of the Helpline and the support it can provide. The Helpline will continue to be staffed by SDS advisers from across Scotland, who will support young people to take a step back from the emotion of receiving results, talking them through their next steps, reminding them not to worry and that they have options.
The Helpline number is 0808 100 8000 and advisers can also be contacted via Facebook at facebook.com/myworldofwork
