Aberdeenshire Council are beginning to re-open their recycling centres!
This is fantastic news. The increase in flytipping during the pandemic has been a growing concern for many, and this will help us return to a clean environment!
On Monday, 1st June the following Household Recycling Centres will be open from 9am – 6.30pm: Huntly, Turriff, Westhill, Banchory, Portlethen, Macduff, Fraserburgh, Ellon, Inverurie, Laurencekirk, and Redcloak at Stonehaven.
People will be asked to book a slot online – please make sure to check their website for when this is made available: https://www.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/waste/waste-covid-19/.
Please visit their website for further details on access to the HRC, including how to prepare your waste safely. You can also follow Aberdeenshire Council on Facebook to keep updated here.
