I have supported Marie Curie - Scotland for years and am able to share that the Marie Curie team have recently published new information on their services from the past year in Aberdeenshire and North East Scotland, highlighting a community need for palliative care.
In Aberdeenshire, around 2,390 of the 2,655 people who pass each year have a palliative care need. And in 2021/22, Marie Curie provided cared for 8,660 people in all of Scotland who had a terminal illness.
The demand for palliative care is high, but Marie Curie’s services are available to everyone. Find out what ways the charity can help you or others in need here: https://bit.ly/3nW16PP
