Farmers and those living in rural areas are asked to be vigilant following recent reports of Hare coursing in Moray and Aberdeenshire.
Hare coursing is the deliberate hunting of hares with dogs and is a criminal offence.
The Police have asked anyone with any information regarding hare coursing to contact the Police immediately with the time and exact location of the hare coursing activity, a description of the dogs used and activities observed, and the make, model and registration number of the vehicles involved.
Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 999 or 101, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
