This week it is Mental Health Awareness Week!
As we face extremely challenging and uncertain times, it is important that we take care of our own mental health and are mindful towards those we love who may be struggling during this pandemic 👨👩👧👦.
Organised by the Mental Health Foundation, this year’s theme is Kindness. People across the country are encouraged to celebrate kindness through a range of digital and creative ways whilst we all follow the social distancing guidance.
You can get involved by sharing stories and pictures of kindness during the week using #KindnessMatters and #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek.

This week, many useful and insightful activities have been planned by the Aberdeenshire Virtual Wellbeing Festival in support of Mental Health Awareness Week.
Every day this week there are a variety of activities that you can participate in – from discussions on mindfulness and meditation, to online Yoga sessions that stress the importance of exercise for your mental health.
