I have long been an avid campaigner for raising awareness of Lyme Disease and improving testing and treatment of the disease.

The LymeApp will do wonders for helping to prevent people contracting the disease by creating zoomable maps of tick occurrence – but this must be rolled out to Grampian and the rest of Scotland, not just the Highlands.

As more people enjoy walking, hiking and exploring the outdoors, ticks are regularly affecting more people and the SNP Government continue to ignore the dangers posed by Lyme Disease.
