I had a great time at the annual Deeside Steam Vintage Rally at Milton of Crathes on the 17th August.
The Rally included steam engines, steam vehicles, vintage tractors, miniatures, vintage agricultural machinery, plus vintage cars and vintage motorcycles as well as events and displays for everyone to enjoy.
This event always has a great turnout, and helps to support the tourism industry which areas such as Crathes and Banchory depend on.
Although the steam engines where the highlight of the weekend, it was equally as nice to catch up with local residents and friends, and gave me a chance to hear more about the many amazing projects and businesses going on in the local community.
If you missed it this time, be sure to schedule it in your calendar for next year, it really is a fantastic weekend.
