Last week I called on the Scottish Government to drastically improve their support for stroke survivors.
Currently in Scotland is it a postcode lottery as to whether survivors get the cognitive, emotional and psychological help that they need. In particular psychological support has been overlooked by the Government with just a quarter of stroke survivors receiving enough mental health support.
The Government seek to blame the pandemic, yet these problems were apparent years before the pandemic.
