Blood Bikes Scotland visited the Scottish Parliament recently and it was great to meet with them. I first learnt about blood bikes when I had contact with the North East Rider Volunteers Scotland - NERVs in 2017 and am continually impressed that these dedicated volunteers transport blood and other samples to labs, as well as medication to patients’ homes.

The fantastic work they do costs the NHS nothing and helps patients get the support they need.
