It’s disappointing to hear that the household waste lorry in Ballater may be cancelled permanently. The coronavirus pandemic has undoubtedly had an impact on the council’s ability to provide its usual services, but it’s important that our rural communities are not left behind.

This is why the Scottish Government must make sure that our councils receive the funding that they need so that they can continue supporting our local communities.
