Ruth Davidson was up in Aberdeenshire visiting businesses in Ballater who have been affected by the recent flooding.

"It was great to have Ruth Davidson back up in Aberdeenshire today. Many thanks to Sheridan's Butcher for having us and speaking about the issues facing local businesses in the area. We must support local communities to allow them to flourish, especially during difficult times with the oil crisis and recent flooding. The Scottish Conservatives have outlined plans for a business rates freeze that will help small and medium sized business, but particularly for those companies who are just getting back on their feet after the severe flooding in December."
