This Friday I treated my wife Vin to a delicious lunch at the Kincardine castle pop up cafe. They are open on the first Friday of the month serving up lunches and afternoon tea. This month they opened and put a donation of the proceeds towards the Deeside and Ballater Flood Appeal.

The flooding appeal fundraiser, which I was pleased to see was extremely busy, ended up raising £250 for the appeal from the proceeds of teas and coffees, plus what was kindly put into the donation bucket. The next First Friday Cafe is on 4th March 2016 at Kincardine Castle and Estate.
