Plans for a tenth renewable energy development within a 1.5 mile radius of Kintore have been lodged. This latest proposal, a battery storage and solar farm, threatens to further decimate the area’s countryside, pushing Kintore closer to becoming an industrial zone.

The community has repeatedly voiced overwhelming opposition to these giant developments, which will cause irreparable damage to the landscape and set a planning precedent that is leading to the destruction of Kintore’s spectacular countryside.
