Ed Miliband has refused to rule out a future coalition with the SNP.
Yesterday, after being repeatedly asked by Andrew Marr to do so, Ed Miliband refused to rule out a possible coalition between Labour and the SNP. This is further evidence that a vote for any party but the Conservatives is a vote for chaos and uncertainty.
Alexander said, 'This is a clear sign that Labour are in complete chaos. Only four months ago, the Labour Party were campaigning to save the United Kingdom. Now, Ed Miliband signals that he would be willing to do a deal with the people who were trying to rip apart our family of nations. This would be a complete betrayal of the people who voted no to seperation and yes to a strong future together in the United Kingdom. At a time when we need to stick to our clear long-term economic plan to secure Britain’s future, a deal between Ed Miliband and the SNP could have disastrous consequences. We just don’t know what they would demand in return for propping up a Labour Government.'
'This will be the most important General Election in a generation – it is a choice between security and uncertainty. Our long-term economic plan to secure a better and brighter future for Britain is working – but there is still more to do and we must not let our recovery be ruined by putting Ed Miliband in Number 10. And the only way to ensure that happens is to vote Scottish Conservative in West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine.'
