It was interesting to attend Ballater & Crathie CC last night and good to see so many positive actions post-floods. Ballater and Crathie Community Council are organising two excellent events: one is a Public Information Meeting on Wednesday 10th February 7.30-9.30pm at Victoria and Albert Halls, Ballater and a public Drop In again at Victoria and Albert Halls on Thursday 11th February. It is very important that all the hugely well intentioned support is co-ordinated through the Community Council to ensure its efficient and accurate delivery.

I have also heard from Foundation Scotland about the support they are able to give to people and community groups affected by the floods - money available, just the applications that are needed!! Find out more information here at www.foundationscotland.org.uk
