On Tuesday I attended a meeting of the Environment, Climate Change, and Land Reform Committee where we discussed the budget review process and the work programme.
In the evening I attended receptions for the SEFARI Showcase and an Armed Forces parliamentary visit, hosted by our Presiding Officer, Ken Mackintosh.
On Wednesday I met with representatives from Arthritis Research UK, where we discussed strategies to ensure that individuals suffering from musculoskeletal disorders get appropriate and timely treatment from the NHS. I also met with representatives from Blue Cross to discuss animal welfare.
In the chamber I attended the Scottish Conservatives' debate on the economy, sponsored by Murdo Fraser MSP. We must hold the SNP accountable for the growing divergence between Scotland’s economic performance and that of the rest of the United Kingdom.
In the evening I attended a parliamentary reception for flooding.
On Friday I held a surgery in Banchory.
